to Amazon Cafe. Since 1998 we have been featured
as one of the best healthy eating alternatives to fast food in
the industry.
Amazon currently has more than 35 locations and another
30+ are scheduled to open in 2006!
Our Mission:
The mission of Amazon Cafe is to provide healthy and delicious fare
in a modern, environmentally-friendly atmosphere while giving back
to our communities and supporting environmental and health-related
causes.
Amazon
headquarters are in Newtown, PA in the historic
Whitehall
Building.
Started
by
Mick
Petrucci
in
1998, the privately held company began offering franchises
in 2002.
Over
the past
three
years,
Amazon Cafes have opened in Pennsylvania, New York,
New
Jersey, New Hampshire, Delaware and North Carolina.
At least a dozen more are expected to open in those states
and in Nevada, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.,
and franchisees are actively being sought throughout the Northeast
and Southeast. Most franchisees are owner/operators,
and
are eligible to own more than one store.
Amazon Cafe was recently dubbed one of the area’s fastest-growing
franchises and “Emerging Business of the Year” by
the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Since 2002,
seven stores
have opened in the five-county region, with another three
opening in the nearby New Jersey counties of Gloucester and
Burlington
and more stores in development.
